County Jail and Records

For current jail status, call Bonneville County Jail at 208-529-1315. Jail operations run around the clock, but that does not mean records services or property pickup are available 24 hours a day.

For a booking or release record, contact the BCSO Records Unit or submit a request through the law-enforcement records portal. The research found no published fixed fee for a release record or booking photo, so request an estimate before ordering.

State Custody and Supervision

IDOC District 7 handles local probation and parole matters. The Idaho Falls Community Reentry Center remains an IDOC custody setting, not a county-jail release archive. IDOC headquarters and Constituent Services can route statewide records or agency questions.

• Start on the home page for a released-person search and county record request.
• Use Post-Release Supervision for parole or probation and Release Date Lookup for IDOC sentence dates.
• Call Idaho VINE at 1-866-984-6343, available 24 hours, or use VINE Inmate Check. IDOC VINE victim services is 208-605-4774 during business hours.
• Check 24-Hour Releases or 72-Hour Releases for the documented fallback process because Bonneville County publishes no official recent-release feed.
• For juvenile matters, contact 3B Detention Center, 950 Environmental Way, Idaho Falls, ID 83401, at 208-542-2947. Juvenile information is restricted.
• For court or archive records, use 605 N. Capital Ave., 208-529-1350, or courtarchives@bonneville.idcourts.gov.
• For federal records use the BOP locator. For immigration custody, use the ICE locator or call ICE DRIL at 1-888-351-4024, Monday through Friday excluding holidays, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern.
